Elementary News

The first couple of days of school are almost in the books and we are off and running at Roundup Elementary.  Students are getting back into the routines at school and we are almost running normally!  I have a few parent reminders:

Parents always use the main doors to enter Roundup Elementary and check into the office with the secretary.  Parents are allowed in the building but for the safety of our students all adults must check in before entering the building.

The doors open at 7:45 in the morning at the main entrance and the east entrance.  If students are going to eat breakfast they should enter through the main doors.  If students are going to class and not eating breakfast they should enter through the east doors and go to their rooms.

Roundup Elementary will begin MAPS testing next week for all students.  The teachers will be sending reminders on email, texts, Remind, etc., letting parents know when their student/s will be testing.  The testing data is used to set our RTI groups during the school year so please be sure your child/children get a good night sleep and breakfast at home or the school.

Friday, August 20th there is a parent meeting for elementary football at 5:00.  The meeting will take place in the high school gym and then equipment will be checked out to all players who attend.  Parents please attend the meeting and please remember all players must have a physical before they can practice or play.

We all are appreciative of the wonderful rain and it serves as a reminder to be sure your children are appropriately dressed for Montana’s weather.
