NOTICE OF ANNUAL SCHOOL TRUSTEE ELECTION

 

Notice is hereby given by the undersigned Clerk of School Districts 55 & 55H- Roundup, Musselshell County, State of Montana that the Annual School Election will be held on Tuesday, May 4, 2021, at the following polling place:

  • Community Library, Sixth Street and Sixth Avenue West, Roundup, Montana

Electors will consider the following issue at the election:

  • Harley Blegen-Trustee to be elected for a 3-year term;
  • Cameron Charles McCleary-Trustee to be elected for a 3-year term;
  • Standford C. Pisle-Trustee to be elected for a 3-year term;
  • Brenda Serrano-Trustee to be elected for a 3-year term;
  • Gary Van Dyke-Trustee to be elected for a 3-year term;
  • Thomas M. Vandeberg-Trustee to be elected for a 3-year term.

Two three-year terms for the position of school board trustee is up for election.

The polls will be open between the hours of 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM at the Community Library on the day of election.  

A qualified registered elector who will be unable to go to the polls on the day of election may request an “Application for Absentee Voter’s Ballot” from the county election administrator’s office.

If you miss the regular registration deadline (30 days prior to the election), you may still register for the election by showing up at the county election administrator’s office up to and including on the day of election. Between noon and the close of business on the day before election day, you may complete and submit a voter registration card. 

A late registrant may obtain a ballot on the day of election at the county election administrator’s office.

NOTICE IS ALSO HEREBY GIVEN by the undersigned Clerk of School Districts 55 & 55H-Roundup, Musselshell County, State of Montana that absentee ballots for the School Trustee Election held on the 4th day of May, 2021 will be counted on election day at the Community Library, Sixth Street and Sixth Avenue West, Roundup, Montana.

 

Absentee ballots will be counted by hand with the regular ballots starting at 6:00 PM on May 4, 2021.
