PTSA Meeting
We are SO excited to get back to our monthly meetings! Our first meeting of the year will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 14th at 3:45pm. We will be meeting in the Elementary School Library. Our first meeting is important, as we will be VOTING on our Board Members, and discussing events like Trunk or Treat and Family Movie Night! It's also important that your $10 dues have been paid before the meeting! (Per our Bi-Laws, only members who have paid dues can vote.) We are still looking for anyone interested in being Secretary. Our monthly meetings will be on the SECOND TUESDAY of the month, starting in October! We look forward to seeing you there! If you have any questions, or are interested in being our Secretary, please contact Sharron Hagstrom (406) 855-1090!
After School Program
The after school program will begin September 13th for students needing extra support in Reading and Math. Your child's teacher will contact you to let you know if he/she qualifies for the program. The program is available Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays after school. Students will go to the cafeteria after school to get a snack and take a short break. The after school program begins at 3:45 and ends at 4:45. Students may be picked up outside the main doors of the elementary school. Please let your child's teacher know who will be picking them up or how they will get home. Thank you for your support! We look forward to helping students make progress toward their goals! If you have any questions about the after school program or qualifications, please contact your child's teacher. Thank you!

The Volleyball game scheduled for Columbus on Saturday as been moved from a 2:00 p.m. start time to a 1:00 p.m. start time.

Attention 5th/6th grade and Jr. High Football Parents!
We are extremely sorry for the short notice but we are going to move practice to 9 a.m. tomorrow to avoid the heat. We will run from 9 a.m. - 11 a.m. down at the community practice fields. Again, we apologize profusely for the short notice, especially given that it is a holiday weekend. We understands if families have plans and absences, will be considered excused.

Labor Day Weekend
We have our first full week of school is under our belts and we are beginning to roll. Just a reminder parents today is an early out. Students will be released as follows:
Kindergarten- 1:40
First-Third- 1:44
Fourth- Sixth- 1:48
Buses will leave the high school at approximately 2:15 so bus drop offs will be earlier.

Busy weekend for the Panthers Activities! Today Cross Country kicks off the fun with a meet at Hardin. Then tonight the Football Panthers are home for the first time this season with kickoff slated for 7 p.m. against Malta. Saturday our 5th/6th grade and Jr. High Football teams takes the field for the first time at home with game time slated to start at 10 a.m.. The 5th/6th Grade team will play first immediately followed by the Jr. High team. For all of our Volleyball fans our Jr. High Volleyball team also plays on Saturday at Shepherd at 8 a.m. their first contests of the year. Then to wrap up the busy weekend Volleyball is at home for their first home contest hosting Shepherd at 2 p.m.! Good Luck to all of our teams as they begin their season.

Good Luck to the Panthers Volleyball Team tonight! They are on the road to play at Red Lodge at 4 p.m.! Good Luck Panthers! Do not miss your chance to see Volleyball on Saturday at home vs. Shepherd! Games start at 2 p.m.

Message from Coach Bourn:
Elementary and junior high football players; our games this Saturday will start at 10am with the elementary playing first. However, everyone is to meet at the high school shed by 830am. Junior high players are expected to cheer on the elementary during their game and we ask that the elementary school players hand around after their game to do the same for their junior high team mates.

Bus Route Update - Bus Number 5!!
Roundup Families who live on Old Divide Road. Road work will be taking place on Old Divide Road from Sept 1-6. The bus schedule for bus 5 may be delayed during this time. Also for commuters please give yourself extra time due to the delay.

The Roundup Cross Country Team has a home meet this morning at 10am at the Roundup Golf Course. Good luck to our cross country team. Go Panthers!

Wishing our Cross Country, Football, and Volleyball teams good luck! Cross Country is competing in the Billings Invite at noon today and Football is traveling to Columbus for Friday Night Lights. Kick off for football is 7:00 p.m. The weekend activities conclude with Volleyball playing in the Columbus Invite on Saturday with play starting at 9:00 a.m. in Columbus! Go Panthers!

Update for 5th,6th,7th and 8th football player parents!
There will be a bus available to transport football players from the junior high to the practice fields after school. 6th grade band students that have class at the junior/high school will be dropped off at the elementary school so that they can grab their gear and head down to the fields. They will not be allowed to bring their football gear to the junior/high school.
Practice will run from 4:25pm-6:15pm. Thank you all again for your patience in this matter as we move forward. This information will be distributed via Facebook and through school announcements.

Roundup High School Volleyball starts their season today! Good Luck Panthers tonight as you take on Forsyth! Game time is 4:30 p.m. at Forsyth! Go Panthers!

Roundup Jr/Sr High School wants to announce that Volleyball will be at Forsyth on Thursday August 25 with games beginning at 4:30pm
On Friday August 26 Football will be at Columbus at 7pm.
Finally on Saturday August 27 Volleyball will be at the Columbus Invitational all day Saturday.

Welcome Back
Roundup Jr/Sr High School will be back in session Wednesday August 24.
Doors will open at 8am. School begins at 8:25am with all staff and students meeting in the gym. Students will hear a brief message from the Principal at this time then receive their schedules before moving to their second period class.
Lunch will be served. Students will be release at 2:06pm for the day.

Attention 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th grade football parents!
Changes in schedule for the week:
Practice Today (Tuesday, 8/23) will run from 345-445pm, due to the Elementary School orientation.
Practices for the rest of the week (8/24-8/26) will start at 4:25pm and run until 6pm.

7th Grade Back to School Night
Roundup Jr/Sr High School wishes to announce this years 7th Grade Back-to-School Night this evening August 23.
All are welcome tonight at 7:00pm. 7th Grade students and their parents will meet in the gym for a brief message then proceed to their child’s regular schedule. Families will travel with their child from class to class, meeting 5 minutes in each class to meet their teachers.
Students will receive their class schedules as they come in to the Main Entry of the High School from staff members and have the chance to locate their lockers before 7pm.

Attention 5th-6th and 7th-8th grade football parents!!
Football Equipment Checkout and Paperwork Turn in will be Augusts 17th from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Jr. Football shed on the North side of the High School in the gravel lot. Please remember your student-athlete will need a physical prior to participating. If you have not picked up your paperwork you may pick it up at the High School from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m.
The teams will then practice the 18th, 19th, 22nd and 23rd at 4:30 p.m.

Jr. High Volleyball will be having a team and parent meeting August 15th at 6:00 p.m. for the upcoming season. Schedules, paperwork turn in, and last minute registration prior to the start of practice on the 19th of August. They will meet at the High School in room #5.

This is a REVISED notice that the Board of Trustees for School District 55 & 55H, Musselshell County, Montana will hold their regularly scheduled August Board meeting on Monday, August 15th at 7:00 PM at the district office. The agenda is below, and also posted at the district office, high school library and elementary school.


*Update* If you missed the Junior High and High School Fall Sports sign up, please swing by the Junior High/High School office to pick up your paper work.
High School Practices start on August 12th and all paper work needs to be completed and turned in prior to the start of practice. High School Football will have a meeting on August 11th at 7 p.m. to hand out equipment and collect paperwork. They will meet in room #7 in the High School.
Junior High practices start on August 18th and all paper work needs to be completed and turned in prior to the start of practice. Junior High Football will meet on August 17th to hand out equipment and collect paper work from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Jr. High Football shed, which is located in the gravel lot north of the High School.
