Adolescent years are times of important brain development. Brain development begins during the growth of the fetus in the womb and continues through childhood and to about age 25. Nicotine exposure during adolescence and young adulthood can cause addiction and harm the developing brain.

Roundup High School students competed in a regional math competition today with the following students winning scholarships Elizabeth Donahue, Brandon Anthony, Trent Worley, and Jae Stewart! Go Panthers!

Juniors, Seniors, and Parents: The permission slip for next week's field trip to Billings is due Friday, March 18. All Juniors and Seniors have the opportunity to attend. We will be loading the buses around 9:00 a.m. and return prior to the end of the school day on March 23.


On Monday March 21 Roundup Jr/Sr High School will host Parent/Teacher conferences from 1-7pm.
Parents are encouraged to visit with their child’s teachers to visit what they can do to help their child become more successful.

Congratulations to Emily Coles on winning the State BPA association President for the upcoming school year at the State BPA convention this year.

drop off times in the afternoon will change slightly for some students.
Morning pickup times will not change.
All students will be provided new drop off times today to provide parents.

***JH/HS Students***
On Friday March 11th Students who have no D’s or F’s will earn a Passport that will allow them to stay home for the day and not count against their attendance.
We will check grades on Thursday March 10 at noon. Any students at that time no D’s or F’s will receive a Passport for an excused absence the next day.
Students who don’t earn a Passport are expected to be at school on Friday and will follow their regular schedule. During the day they will be making up their work. Should parents not be able to find suitable supervision for their children, students with Passports may attend and be supervised in alternative school activities.

Reminder that Monday, February 28th, is a PIR day for staff. Students, enjoy your 3 day weekend.
In addition, RPS will be in session on Friday, March 4th. This year's flexible day off will be observed on May 27th.

Bus #1 is up and running and will be going out for the afternoon run for those that found alternate transportation this morning.
