Junior High Boys Basketball will be on the road this weekend with games at Huntley Project starting at 9:30 a.m. Good Luck Panthers!

Basketball Fans! The Panthers High School will be at home this Saturday vs. Malta. Games will start at 2:30 p.m. with JV Girls (1/2 game), followed at 3:30 p.m. with JV. Boys. The Varsity then take the court with Varsity Girls tipping off 5:00 p.m. followed by the Varsity Boys at 6:30 p.m. Good Luck Panthers!

Roundup High School wrestling is headed to Divisional Wrestling in Columbus on Friday and Saturday. Friday wrestling starts at 1:30 p.m. with the doors opening at 12:30 p.m. for fans. Saturday wrestling starts at 9:30 a.m. with the doors opening at 8:30 a.m. Good Luck to the wrestling Panthers!

Please note that the Jr. High Boys Basketball games scheduled for tomorrow morning (01/28/2023) in Columbus have been cancelled. Thank you!

Wrestling Parents please note that the start time in Lockwood tomorrow has been moved forward an hour, they will now be starting at 4 p.m. instead of 5 p.m., good luck to the wrestlers!

MHSA Activities for the Week! Roundup Athletes will have a very busy week this week. Boys and Girls Basketball play at Home vs. Huntley Project on Tuesday with games starting at 3:30. The JV teams then will host Broadview/Lavina at home on Thursday, starting at 4:00 p.m. The Basketball teams will then wrap up with a trip to Red Lodge with a 3:00 p.m. tip off scheduled for those games. At Red Lodge they will play JVB, JVG, Varsity Boys, Varsity Girls. Wrestling has two events scheduled traveling to Columbus on Tuesday and then Lockwood on Friday. Both events are schedule to start at 5:00 p.m. Speech and Drama will be departing for their State Meet on Friday with event starting early on Saturday. Also on Saturday, Jr. High Basketball will be traveling to Columbus for a set of Round Robin games slated to start at 8:00 a.m. Good Luck Panthers!

Roundup High School Basketball this week has two away games. Friday the Panthers travel to Shepherd with the games starting at 3:00 p.m. The schedule will be JV Boys, JV Girls, Varsity Boys and then Varsity Girls. The teams will be dismissed from class at 1:15 and depart at 1:30 from the High School. Saturday the teams travel to Colstrip, with games starting at 2:00 p.m. The schedule will be JV Girls, JV Boys, Varsity Girls and Varsity Boys. All games will be played at the Middle School in Colstrip. The teams will depart at 11:15 a.m. from the High School.

High School Wrestling at Forsyth has been canceled, because not enough teams signed up to participate in the tournament. There have been two more changes to the Wrestling schedule. Next week on Tuesday the 24th the team will be at Columbus and then on Friday the 27th they will be participating in a tournament in Lockwood. Go Panthers!

2021 K-8 Cheer Camp. This event is a fundraiser for the RHS Cheerleaders. 2023 Kids Cheer camp will be held Saturday February 4th from 8am-10am at the High School with the halftime performance to follow during the High School Varsity Basketball Games, K-4 during the girls varsity game and 5-8 during the boys varsity game. Cost is $25 per child and includes the camp, a t-shirt, and the child's admission to the game. Each child needs to bring their own water bottle and snack for the camp. All registrations & payments must be received by Tuesday, January 23rd to ensure your child receives a t-shirt. Any questions can be directed to Coach Barth by calling 253-306-2188. Thursday, January 19th the JV Girls and JV Boys will travel to Lavina to play one game each. The girls game will start at 400 and the boys game is scheduled to start at 5:30. The bus will leave the high school at 3:00 on Thursday. Basketball players will be dismissed from class at 2:45.

Jr. High Boys Basketball will be hosting a Triangular on Saturday. The schools attending will be St. Francis and Joliet. The 7th grade team will be playing their games at the Elementary Gym and the 8th grade team will be playing at the High School. Games start at 8 a.m. with Roundup playing St. Francis, then at 9:15 St. Francis will play Joliet, the final game will be Roundup vs. Joliet. Go Panthers!

Roundup Weekend MHSA Events - Wrestling: Roundup is in Miles City on Friday and Saturday for the Cowboy invitational wrestling starts at 9:00 a.m. on Friday 1/13/2023. Basketball: Roundup is away at Joliet on Friday with a 3:30 tip off planned order of games - JV Girls, JV Boys, Varsity Girls, and then Varsity Boys. Saturday the Panthers return home with a 2:30 tip off against Forsyth. The game order will remain the same JV Girls, JV Boys, Varsity Girls and then Varsity Boys. The cheer team will be at the home game on Saturday as well. Speech and Drama: The Panthers are at Huntley on Saturday 1/14/2023

Roundup Families, we have been keeping an eye on the weather forecast since last week. The forecast for this Wednesday and Thursday is extremely frigid. Due to the cold weather, and with an abundance of caution we have decided to cancel school for Wednesday December 21st and Thursday December 22nd, and allow families to begin their Christmas Break earlier. We are currently planning to operate Tuesday as previously scheduled with an early release due to stacked basketball games. We hope this message provides families with plenty of time to adjust to the schedule change, and we hope our Roundup Community enjoys a wonderful Christmas Break!
