Roundup School District

Tuesday, December 12, 2023 Roundup Elementary will be hosting a Christmas Concert put on by grades 4-6. Our Fifth Grade Band students will also perform during this concert. The concert starts at 5:30. The doors will open at 5:00. Students are asked to be here by 5:15. Please come out and enjoy the concert. Also, Friday, December 15 is another early out. Students will attend school until 12:10. It is a normal academic day for our students other than the early out. Buses will run on the early out schedule provided by the district office at the beginning of the year.

RHS Weekly Schedule: Wrestling travels to Glasgow for the Scottie Wrestling Invitational HS Basketball travels to Laurel Friday and Saturday for the Class B Tip-off Tournament. Girls will play both days at 9:00 AM followed by the boys at 10:30. Speech and Drama is traveling to Forsyth! Go Panthers!

Roundup Wrestlers had a pretty good first tournament in Cascade. We took 12 of our 18 total Wrestlers, 10 guys & 2 girls, they all fought hard and ready to get to work. Coins for Food Baskets Roundup Elementary will be holding a donation program called Coins for Food Baskets. The coins and money collected will help the local Food Baskets program that helps feed more than 100 families in the community Christmas dinner. We will be collecting coins, dollars, and checks from November 20 until Friday, December 8. Checks can be made out to the Christmas Food Basket Program. When everything has been collected, the grade with the heaviest cans of donation change will get a treat. We will also be competing with Roundup Junior/Senior High School to see which school can raise the most money. The Principal of the school with the least money will get a “Pie in the Face.” We would like to thank you for all your help!

Donny went from not winning a match in his wrestling career yet, to loving the feeling of success and even taking 2nd ...and 1st !! PTSA Family Move Night is this Friday, November 17. Mario Brothers is the movie being shown. The doors open at 6:00 and the movie starts at 6:30. All students must be accompanied by an adult. Roundup Elementary will be holding a Veteran's Day Celebration on Thursday, November 9th. We will have a flag raising ceremony at 8:30 AM which is open to the public and any veterans that would like to attend. Please come and celebrate our veterans and say thanks for their dedication to our country!!

There will a winter sports parent meeting on Tuesday, November 14 at 5:15 PM in the high school gym. After the all sport parent meeting, we will proceed to have individual team meetings. This is for all high school and junior high teams. Go Panthers!
